Who Are We?
Passion knows no bounds, and when it aligns with a vibrant and diverse lifestyle, magic happens. In the heart of the Lone Star State, three college students discovered a perfect synergy between their love for design and the captivating Texas lifestyle. The Texas lifestyle became an inseparable companion to their passion for design.
The Story of Black Hills
In 1840, the Texas Congress ordered a government road to be built from Austin. This road crossed the east fork of the trinity river which is now known as Heath, Texas. Immigrants and settlers who were attracted to the rich black soil began to travel to this area. The first name for the Heath area was called Black Hills. Buffalo used to roam the area and each day after sundown they would run through the town. A bell would ring to warn the children to stay inside until the buffalo had passed. This is the reasoning behind our slogan "Ring The Bell". In 1969, a dam was created on the Trinity River creating Lake Ray Hubbard. Our logos, designs and twang are inspired by this lake that made this land so attractive.
